The Provincial Treasury of Bizkaia has regularized €414.2 million in proceedings against fiscal fraud during 2022, of which it has recovered 368 million, 89% of the total. In all, he has made 545 323 performances against various fraudsters.
The vast majority of what is regularized corresponds to installments not enteredand only 28.2 million has been obtained through sanctions imposed by the Foral Treasury.
Among the regularized 414 million, the main income corresponds to the collection of the VAT (more of €116 million in 25,238 performances) and the Non-Resident Income Taxwhich suppose to recover more than 102 million in less than 1,000 actions, this being one of the areas that proportionally represents the most fraud, along with crimes (almost 2.5 million in ten actions).
Specifically, among the most relevant actions carried out by the Treasury in 2022 are the more than €51 million regularized to a Biscayan company within a multinational, which absorbed several companies based in tax havens, without paying the corresponding tax.
The Foral Treasury also highlights the case of a non-resident company in Bizkaia with participation in the territory, with a result of 28.9 million.

Also noteworthy, among other cases, are 25,102 proceedings against people who had not submitted the corresponding declaration, with a result of more than 11 million. Sales made in cash and not declared amount to 5.9 million euros, and irregular invoices, 2.5 million.
