This same reason has motivated the stoppage of the activity this Friday, which will be the first of the year. The suspension will be computed in the bag of flexibility agreed in the collective agreement.

The Mercedes Benz plant in Vitoria-Gasteiz will stop its activity again next Friday, March 24 due to the “high accumulation” of stocks in the markets where the vehicles it produces are sold.
This same reason has led to the stoppage of activity tomorrow, Friday, at the Álava plant —the largest in the Basque Country with 5,000 workers— in what will be the first to take place this year.
The suspension of the activity has been communicated this Thursday to the staff and will be computed in the flexibility bag agreed in the collective agreement.
The plant that Mercedes Benz has in the capital of Alava had to stop its activity for a week in December of last year, also due to the high accumulation of stocks in the markets.
