The Prehospital Emergency Technicians (TEPH) strike for overtime began at 00:00 Tuesday, November 8 and is of indefinite duration.
INEM ambulance crew demands immediate review of TEPH special career remuneration index; the beginning of the negotiation process to revise the special career of TEPH; respect and appreciation for TEPH, especially in connection with the immediate end of the various offenses committed by INEM; defining a new direction for INEM that delivers effective responses to TEPH as well as the challenges faced by emergency medical services.
According to the Union of Prehospital Emergency Technicians, if these requirements are not met, the salary increase for TEPH from January 1, 2023 will be only 52 euros, which will be exceeded by the technical assistant and operational assistant career. TEPH with a base salary well below the security forces (PSP and GNR), civil protection forces (forest firefighters and special civil protection forces), firefighters, fire fighters or other professions that work in emergency medical services, including INEM, with
duties are similar to those of TEPH.
