The man managed to cross the bridge on April 25 on a scooter late on Saturday evening, but was intercepted by a member of the PSP, who on a motorcycle managed to catch up with him at the exit of the bridge.
The incident took place in the direction of Lisbon-Almada and was recorded on video by people who followed him in a car.
The intercepted man is now subject to an administrative offense for illegal driving on a prohibited road (in this case, the equivalent of a motorway).
You risk getting a fine of 120 to 600 euros. He was released and was able to continue his journey after being escorted off that road.
ABOUT cm tried to get clarification on this case from the Lisbon Metropolitan Command, but did not receive a response.
This is not the first time someone has crossed the April 25 Bridge on a scooter. On August 7 last year, PSP officers intercepted a man who also drove along the same route on a scooter and was stopped at almost the same place.
