Five PSP agents killed themselves in just three months, two of them from Sunday to Monday. PSP Sources Contacted cm are anxious and increase the need for professional support to avoid risky behavior.
The most recent victim was an agent in his mid-40s who worked for Almada’s PSP unit and who this Monday used his service weapon to commit suicide.
The day before, on Sunday, a 48-year-old police officer from the Seixal unit was found dead by people in the Cavadas area.
In February, a police officer in Tomar, a father of two, used a colleague’s service weapon. On the first day of the year, a 30-year-old PSP agent from Almada stopped her car on the April 25 bridge and rushed off.
