Guilherme Padua, murderer of actress Daniella Perez, has died at the age of 53.

Actor Guilherme de Padua, killer of Daniella Perez, died this Sunday at the age of 53. The Brazilian actor died at home in Belo Horizonte, the victim of a heart attack, the Baptist Church of Lagoinha, Minas Gerais, said. Guilherme Padua will fall lifeless to the ground.

“Shortly before 10 pm (6 pm in Lisbon) I got a call from a sister saying that one of our pastors had just passed away. It was a very big blow for me, because this morning I led the service, and he and his wife are in the first pew,” began Marcio Valadao, pastor of the church.

“He committed this terrible crime with Daniella Perez, was arrested, served his sentence and converted to Christianity. He was in the house, fell and died. He just died,” the pastor said.

Remember that the actor killed Daniella, the Brazilian actress and dancer, December 28, 1992. In addition to the actor, his then-wife Paula Tomaz also participated in the murder. At that time, both actors played in the soap opera “De corpo e alma” by Rede Globo, written by Gloria Perez, the mother of the actress.

Daniella left the studio in Rio de Janeiro, where she was recording scenes for the production, followed by Guilherme and Paula’s car. A few hours later, the body of the actress was found in a vacant lot in Barra da Tijuca, in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro. The body of the actress shocked the authorities, as she had 16 punctures on her chest and neck. The actor was sentenced to 19 years in prison, but after seven years on parole.
