Maritime Police early this Saturday morning seized a fast boat with eight bales of hashish, weighing about 300 kg of the drug, which was stuck near Peniche, in the Peniche de Cima area. The drug ship will be towed to the port of Peniche as soon as the tide permits.
ABOUT cm it is known that the Maritime Administration and the Navy predicted a change in the landing sites of drug traffickers who have suffered losses of more than 22 tons of hashish and a dozen speed boats since the beginning of the year, as well as the identification or arrest of four dozen suspects.
Thus, he has already begun patrolling in the area of the southern coast of the Atlantic Ocean (Sines, Setubal, Lisbon and Cascais). Now, after this capture in Peniche, surveillance will be extended to the center, with the support of the Navy and the help of the Air Force.
