A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence and drug production on Terceira Island in the Azores, PSP reported this Wednesday.
The PSP regional command said in a statement that during the investigation, the police found that the suspect “has in his home several items, utensils and active substances intended for the manufacture of narcotic drugs, namely amphetamines”, which were “immediately seized”.
The police operation also resulted in the seizure of “two prohibited weapons”.
After attending the first judicial interrogation at the Judicial Court of Praia da Vitoria in Terceira, the detainee was given “the most serious measure of coercion, preventive detention,” according to PSP.
