Israeli PM admits his government is struggling

The Israeli prime minister acknowledged that the country is facing challenges, including domestic protests against a judicial reform bill, conflict with Hamas in Gaza and southern Lebanon, in the midst of Ramadan and on the border with Syria.

Benjamin Netanyahu made these comments this Sunday, reports Jerusalem Postin a telephone conversation with leaders of Israeli communities bordering Gaza, whom he assured that the country had not yet given its last word.

A day earlier, the leaders of the West Bank settlements – the scene of the execution of two British-Israeli girls – warned Finance and Security Minister Bezalel Smotrich that under no circumstances would they accept “commitments” from the government regarding the safety of these communities.
