Metro de Lisboa announced this Wednesday in a statement the temporary breaks in traffic on the Yellow and Green Lines due to work on the expansion plan.
From 15 to 26 April, the green line will be closed on the section between Telheiras station and Alvalade. On April 29 and 30, there will be interruptions on the Yellow Line due to the closure of the section between Cidade Universitária and Rato stations.
The last period of restrictions is from May 2 to July 7, when the Telheiras station (green line) and the section between Campo Grande and Cidade Universitária (yellow line) will be closed.
The restrictions come after Metro de Lisboa’s network expansion plan to extend two lines. Work is expected to continue over the next three months.
Circulation will resume unconditionally on July 8.
These activities are expected to integrate the two new viaducts built at Campo Grande with the existing viaducts.
