“Many beloved husband, father, brother, bandmate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away in hospital today after a short illness,” the post read, accompanied by a photo of the musician.
The band’s concert is scheduled for July 16 at MEO Marés Vivas in Vila Nova de Gaia. It is not yet known whether there will be any changes in plans in connection with the death of the guitarist.
“Family and band ask fans to respect everyone’s privacy during this tragic time,” the post in question reads, the band concluded.
