The CCOO, LAB, ELA and UGT unions have called the service station workers in Bizkaia to strike between December 1 and 5 “in the face of the employer’s continuous refusals to sign an agreement that updates rights.”
As reported by the CCOO union in a note, the negotiations held for three years have been unsuccessful due to the “blockade” of the employer, which continues “refusing to raise wages or to guarantee the purchasing power of workers.”
Workers in the sector demand wage increases that guarantee their purchasing power, as well as improve their working conditions.
