According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the yellow warning will be in effect today from 11:00 to 15:00.
A yellow warning, the least severe, is issued by the IPMA whenever a risk situation arises for certain weather-dependent activities.
IPMA is predicting very cloudy skies overall today with short periods of rain in the north and center, strong and gusty winds in places, a slight drop in minimum temperature on the northern and central coast and maximum temperature, especially in the interior of the North. and Center and in the southern region.
The minimum temperature will range from 6 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) to 12 (in Faro), and the maximum from 17 (in Viana do Castelo) to 25 (in Bragança).
