LAB, UGT, CCOO and ESK have called the workers of the Osakidetza cleaning subcontractors to strike for another three weeks, starting on April 26. ELA, which had called a strike until April 30, has extended it until May 21.
The labor conflict in the cleaning service subcontracted by Osakidetza continues to be far from resolved after the meeting of the negotiating table for the collective agreement held this Friday at the Basque Country Labor Relations Council (CRL) ended without progress.
at its term, union majority (LAB, UGT, CCOO and ESK) have summoned the workers of the Osakidetza cleaning subcontractors to another three weeks of strike, starting next April 26.
For its part, the union THE Awhich had called a strike until April 30, has announced that it is extending it until May 21.
The workers have not had an agreement for five years and demand homologation with the Osakidetza staff, so that they can have access to the different calls for professional careers, access to partial retirement linked to the relief contract and a “fairer and more objective system of vacancy coverage.
As LAB, UGT, CCOO and ESK have explained in a note, “companies such as Osakidetza’s management are breaking the principle of approval by refusing to adapt and apply the different subjects applied to Osakidetza’s own personnel.”
