FC Porto President Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has acquired another 3,004 shares of the national football champion’s SAD, the Dragons announced this Friday in a note to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
The transaction completed on Tuesday included an amount of EUR 3,154.20, with the director investing a second time in April, this time at a unit price of EUR 1.05, again slightly strengthening his position in SAD for the sixth subsequent month. .
The rest of the deals carried out by the president of FC Porto, who are currently second in Ligue I with 67 points, four behind isolated leader Benfica, are dispersed through November and December 2022 (7,248 shares for 6,623 .20 euros), January and February 2023 (7,590 to 7,509.70) and separately on March 1 (1,298 to 1,479.72), 08 (1,350 to 1,579.50) and March 16 (1,553 to 1,863.60) and April 12 (564 to 631.68).
In the first half of the 2022/23 season, 85-year-old Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa held 320,804 shares, representing 1.43% of his position, as of December 31, 2022, according to the latest SAD report and accounts submitted to CMVM.
The majority of SAD is owned directly by the club (74.59%), with businessman, former football player and former coach António Oliveira being the main individual shareholder (7.34%), followed by his brother Joaquim Oliveira through Olivedesportos society (6.68%) .
