Spanish police have intercepted a drug-trafficking speedboat from North Africa off Mallorca in the Mediterranean. Three occupiers tried to escape, but were detained. The Spanish authorities seized about 1,200 kg of hashish.
The Civil Guard pursued the suspects at high speed to the beach. In the pictures released by the security police, you can see the fleeing detainees already on the sand, where they were intercepted.
The speedboat and the method used are similar to the human trafficking networks that operated on the Algarve coast.
