In favor of this objective, he pointed out that “the company has highlighted the competitiveness of this part of its workforce, and that the workers are not the problem”. At this point, he recalled that, since the merger between the Siemens Group and Gamesa in 2017, the personnel hired in the Foral Community “has increased from 1,335 workers to the current 1,763, not counting the 239 at the Aoiz blade manufacturing plant”.

The Minister also recalled that, of the 1,250 million euros spent on purchases per year in the Spanish State, 240 million have corresponded to operations with Navarran suppliers.
