A 41-year-old woman suffered 1st degree facial burns on Tuesday evening from a gas explosion in a stove in Pareda, Cascais.

According to Parede fire chief Pedro Araujo, the accident occurred when the victim lit the stove with a match. The aftermath of the explosion left the woman with a burnt face.
