In a message addressed to its partners, the Group’s Management denounces that Ulma is being subjected to an aggressive communication campaign: “We will not accept that our decision-making capacity is attacked in this way.”
The address of Ulma has accused the Corporation mondragon of “interference without precedents”, after Mondragon’s governing bodies sent a communication to all the affiliated cooperatives. In a message addressed to its members, the Ulma Management denounces that the Group is being the subject of an aggressive campaigndestined, he affirms, “to condition the will of all and all members. We will not accept that our decision-making capacity is attacked in this way”, highlights the Directorate, before announcing that it will respond to the “manipulated” statements of the Corporation.
According to Ulma, Mondragon “has sent a communication that supposes an unprecedented interference against the free adhesion to the cooperative movement of Euskadi and against the autonomy of management” of said movement”. As the Directorate specifies, this communication was sent “even before of the publication of the call for the Meetings of the Cooperatives”, and it was framed in the context of a communication campaign whose objective was to “condition” the will of all the members.
Ulma’s Management states that it does not seek to “help” create an environment “that can only harm Basque cooperativism”, but, it adds, “We will not accept anyone attacking our decision-making capacity in such a violent way”.
In this way, in addition to sharing with its partners, “fulfilling our responsibility and necessary transparency”, the information disseminated by Mondragon, Ulma reiterates its proposal and that of Orona, which could not be presented at the Mondragon congress a few days ago, like the paper that was finally presented at said congress.
Lastly, Ulma stresses that, in the coming days, she will give an answer “to the manipulated statements that have collected the opinions of the Mondragon bodies”.
