Garamendi has obtained 534 votes in favor compared to the 87 votes that Virgina Guinda has received.

Antonio Garamendi will continue to be the president of the CEOE employers’ association for the next four years and will serve a second term of four more years at the head of the businessmen.
Garamendi has won today the elections for the presidency of the CEOE employers with 534 votes in favour, against the candidacy of the vice president of Foment del Treball, Virgina Guinda, who has received 87 votes in an election in which a total of 643 people.
In the coming days, the Board of Directors of the employer will be convened to proceed with the appointment of the vice-presidents and the members of the Executive Committee.
This will be the second term for Garamendi after being elected president of the CEOE in 2018 by acclamation of the Electoral Assembly. It will also be the last, since the Statutes of the employer limit the time in which a person can remain in the Presidency to two terms.
