The staff of the concessionary company will hold an assembly tomorrow to assess the progress made in the negotiation and decide whether to maintain the strikes called for Friday.
The strike committee Vectalia Txorierrithe Bizkaibus concessionaire that covers the Txorierri area, Bilbao Airport, Mungialdea and the Zamudio Technology Park, has agreed to suspend the 24-hour strike that the workforce planned to carry out today, Wednesday, in order to hold an assembly to inform the staff of the negotiations.
According to union sources, both parties have held a meeting at the headquarters of the Basque Government, in which they have advances for an agreementonce the previous one expired in 2021.
The strike schedule for the next few days includes another day of unemployment 24 hours on Fridayday 12, so the squad must decide a day before if they continue with the strikes called.
After months of conflict, Vectalia Txorierri was the only company that provides the Bizkaibus service where strikes and mobilizations in favor of the agreement continued.
