Resumption of traffic on the blue line of the Lisbon metro after signal failure

Traffic on the Blue Line Metropolitano de Lisboa between Reboleira and Colégio Militar stations is returning to normal after it was interrupted on Wednesday evening due to a faulty signaling system, the company announced on Twitter.

In a post at 10:10 pm, Metro de Lisboa announced that traffic had returned to normal.

Earlier, at 21:30, the company mentioned on Twitter that the blue line traffic between Reboleira and Colégio Militar stations was interrupted due to “aircraft in signal”.

Metropolitano de Lisboa operates daily on four lines: yellow (Rato Odivelas), green (Telleiras-Cais do Sodre), blue (Reboleira-Santa Apolonia) and red (San Sebastian Airport).

The metro usually runs from 06:30 to 01:00.
