The barometer rating is the result of an analysis of 12 typical travel expenses, including a dinner for two with wine and drinks, two nights in a three-star hotel, sightseeing, and city transportation.
According to the site, prices have risen by just 2% compared to last year, which guarantees the Portuguese capital a place at the top of the rankings. The city of Porto ranks sixth.
This is the second time that a Western European city has beaten an Eastern European city to take the top spot in the rankings.
