A shock plan from the Labor Inspectorate has managed to increase the working day of 1,414 workers with partial contracts. Half of these irregular contracts were concentrated in hospitality, followed by the trade and repair of vehicles and motorcycles.
Last September, the Anti-Fraud Tool detected possible fraud in 11,436 part-time contracts. Faced with this, the Basque Country Labor Inspectorate sent 1,946 letters to companies to regularize said contracts.
This initiative has resulted in an increase in the working day of 1,414 partial contracts, 12.3% of those that were supposedly irregular.
Half of the irregular contracts were concentrated in hospitality, followed by the trade and repair of vehicles and motorcycles, with 22.3%.
