It’s Christmas blockbuster season, and none of them sound more promising than their predecessor. Charlie and the Chocolate Factoryjust called Wonka.
It focuses on the backstory of chocolate genius Willy Wonka from the story of Roald Dahl, made famous by the films of Gene Wilder and then Johnny Depp, and has already received rave reviews from critics.
telegraph gave it five stars and said it was “the most fun you’ll have in a movie theater all year.” gave it four stars and described it as “knowledgeable, fantastic and full of soul”.
And after its world premiere at London’s Royal Festival Hall on November 28, it’s ready for release.
When will Wonka hit theaters?

Moviegoers will be transported back to the early 20th century when Willy Wonka was a young man trying to make it in the competitive world of confectionery.
Who plays in it?
Just like them paddington movies, Wonka It features a star-studded cast led by Timothée Chalamet in the title role.
Olivia Colman and Tom Davies play the play’s villains Scrubbit and Bleacher, while Rowan Atkinson takes on the role of the bumbling priest, not for the first time.
Sally Hawkins who played Mrs Brown paddingtonplays the role of a mother again, this time Wonka’s mother.
And Hugh Grant, known for his comedic role as Phoenix Buchanan. paddingtonstarts laughing again like a foot-sized Oompa-Loompa.
When will it be available to stream?
No details have been announced as to when the film will be available to watch at home. However, since this is a Warner Bros. film, it is expected to land on Channel Max, formerly known as HBO Max.
Warner Bros. Movies usually become available to stream within 30-45 days of their theatrical release, meaning you’ll be able to watch them from the comfort of your own home early next year.
