“Golden Eyes” was again presented at a large awards ceremony at the Zurich Opera House. As always, the main prizes were drawn in three different nominations.
In addition to the gala premieres, which are always the biggest buzz at ZFF, there are many more films that compete for the main prizes of the festival. There are three different competitions in which Golden Eyes can be won: a feature film competition with international entries, a focus film competition with films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and a documentary film competition. In all categories, the focus should be on up-and-coming directors competing with their first, second or third directorial effort.
One of the main prizes will remain in Switzerland. Documentation Cascades, which shows the lives of three stuntmen, was able to assert itself against the background of local competitors, as well as competitors from Germany and Austria.
