Finally you can see what’s going on. You can read in our review why the eighth episode is definitely the best of the season and why at least one actor will receive an award.
What is this about?
Another tragic death of Velaryon worries the Targaryen family. The sea serpent, Corlis Velaryon, appears badly wounded in the battle on the steps. If he does not survive, he will have to find a successor. His brother, Waymond Velaryon (Wil Johnson), wants to offer himself as heir. But his wife Reynis has other plans. So the Velaryons travel to King’s Landing to find out once and for all who will be the new “Lord of the Tides”.
How it was?
The series keeps getting better and even ends with its eighth episode. But those who finally do not have time, can also be understood. Another time jump occurs and seven characters are selected with new actors. So the series is clearly made for fans who enjoy exploring Westeros and are willing to dig into it. Dragon House This is not a series that you can only watch. But those who are ready to handle it will be incredibly rewarded.
First of all, thanks to Paddy Considine. Few actors could do what he does in this episode. That he will receive an Emmy Award nomination seems almost certain. He gets so much out of this character that George R.R. Martin wrote more like a side character. The reason he didn’t die is probably because the writers decided to stick with the structure of the show’s first season. game of Thrones orient yourself. And even if Viserys now has an obvious visual resemblance to Darth Vader, this probably shouldn’t be a hint from the creators that should point to something. Or is it so?
In addition to all the strengths that the series has had since the beginning anyway, the tension can now also be highlighted in this episode. The episode passes incredibly quickly and leaves you spellbound. You are so enamored that you would like to watch the next episode and another one after it. Unfortunately, we also have to admit that there will be only two episodes in the first season, and after the finale there will be a gap that no other current series can fill.
Do you know that…
-… from the titles of the following episodes, even without knowing the book, could you guess how the season would end? So if you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read this book.
