The rat invasion is invading the cities! Rodents play pranks on every corner and in every alley. They steal corn from the baker, dance on tables, and scare children. The city needs help, but who can come to the rescue? A smart talking cat named Maurice (German voice: Bastian Pastevka) has a solution, but it comes at a cost to the townspeople. For a small fortune, a cunning domestic tiger sends a flutist through the village, who lures pests out of the city with his sweet sounds.
What no one suspects: Maurice works with rats and furry crooks make a fortune on this. Everything goes according to plan until the troupe arrives in the remote village of Bad Blinz, where their plan just doesn’t work. But Maurice does not want to give up so easily and is faced with dark forces…
Maurice cat (Original title: The Amazing Maurice) will be released in theaters in Switzerland and Germany on February 9, 2023. In the original version, Hugh Laurie borrows (Dr. Dom) the voice of the protagonist.
