Kelly Marcel, co-creator of the first two Venom films, will direct the third adventure of Eddie Brock and his alien symbiote.
We still don’t know when the third Venomthe film will be released in theaters. However, Sony has a film titled “Untitled Sony/Marvel Universe” on its launch list as of July 11, 2024. This will be the third project from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe to cinemas in 2024 – after El Muerto (January 11, 2024) and Madame Web (February 15, 2024). There are now growing signs that the July launch is Venom 3.
Sony has hired Kelly Marcel to direct the third Venom movie, which is still untitled. Marcel is a good colleague of actor Tom Hardy, who starred in the Venom saga – together they also own the Bad Dog Theater Company. “Venom 3” will be the first directorial work of Marcel, who previously worked primarily as a screenwriter – including for Save Mr Banks, Cruella and the first two Venom-Movies. She will also be writing the third Eddie Brock adventure. What the film will be about is still unknown.
