From November 24, 2022, Heidi, conceived by Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein, will appear on Swiss cinema screens. We have exclusive new footage from the movies for you.
We are big fans Crazy Heidi. “The socially critical wink film offers non-stop action and lots of up-tempo humor,” we wrote in our Zurich Film Festival review. This is another reason why we are extremely excited and proud to be able to show you new exclusive material about the film.
New pictures include David Schofield as Alefi (with a cool eyepatch), Max Rüdlinger as the obnoxious Commander Knorr (in equally cool sunglasses) and, of course, Alice Lucy as the extremely tough Heidi.

Crazy Heidi will be released in cinemas in Switzerland and Germany on November 24, 2022. Until then, previews will take place in many locations, including Brugg, Liestal and Zurich on 19 November and Ofringen and Olten on 20 November.
In a dystopian Switzerland under the fascist rule of a cheese magnate, Heidi lives as a simple young woman in the Alps. Alpeya’s grandfather does everything possible to protect his granddaughter from the dictatorship, but soon, because of her desire for freedom, real hell begins. A naive girl must transform into a ferocious fighter before setting off to rid the country of cheese fascists. Action-adventure based on the popular children’s book Heidi.
