Exactly 42 days later, he finally returned to Pandora. The second impressive trailer for James Cameron’s sequel to his 2009 worldwide hit has been released.
There is a lot going on with this film. Not only because of the 13-year waiting period Avatar: Path of Water long-awaited, but also because of the current situation in the cinema. Many cinemas still write underestimated figures and therefore, naturally, they pin their hopes on the sequel to the blockbuster James Cameron. After all, the first avatar with 1,197,343 tickets sold, it is the fourth most successful film in the history of Swiss cinema. So will a sequel make a difference for troubled theaters? We’ll find out from December 14, 2022, when the film opens in Swiss cinemas.
Avatar: Path of Water Set more than ten years after the events of the first film, it tells the story of the Sally family (Jake, Neytiri and their children): the problems they face and what they endure to protect each other; as well as the dramatic experiences and struggles they face in order to survive.
