After eight weeks of cleaning, flirting and pairing up, the winners of Love Island 2023 have finally been announced.
It was an exciting Monday night finale for the four remaining couples at the South African villa as the ninth season of the ITV show reached its climax.

Who won Love Island 2023?
Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan were named the winners of the 2023 series after declaring their love for each other.
“You won me over with your smile and melted with your warm brown eyes,” social worker Sanam told Kai, “I am addicted to your intelligence, your values and your kindness and you always know how to make me smile.
“You made me realize what I’m worth and I can’t wait for the day we’re official.”
While Kai, a physics and physical education teacher, replied, “My time here has been a dream since I met you.
“Sanam, you are one of a kind and I am so lucky to have you in my life because I adore you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”
In addition to the prestige of the title, the pair also share a £50,000 prize pool.
Runners-up were Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall in second, Sami Elishi and Tom Claire in third, and Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad in fourth after a public vote.
How did Kai and Sanam emerge victorious in a thrilling finale?
The 24-year-old seemed to make a deal with the public as they made their final speeches to each other and shared their reasons for wanting to be together.
Sanam said to Kai, “You made me feel like a princess and the only girl in the world.
“I can’t wait for you to come to my house and ask my mom to cook you Caribbean food.
“You showed me what I’m worth.”
Kai confessed, “When I entered the villa. I tried my best to find love.
“Then I found you in Kas. The most caring and beautiful girl I have ever met.
“Every conversation we have brings me closer to you. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as suitable as you.
“My time here was literally a dream with you.”
He noted their similarities, their love of working with children, and their desire to make a difference in the world by supporting their relationship.
Love Island fans, overwhelmed by their seemingly sincere affection for each other, shared their thoughts on social media.
One wrote, “For the first time, I liked Kai and Sanam’s final performance.”
Another noted that the performances “don’t make me wince, and that says it all.”
What happened on the last day at the mansion?
The couples started their day with a dance lesson with professionals in preparation for the Love Island Ball.
The girls were then taken to a luxurious spa day to unwind before the big night.
Later, dressed in tuxedos and elegant dresses, couples gathered by the pool to share their emotional declarations of love in front of a heart-shaped bow before the final dance at the Love Island Ball.
Host Maya Jama has announced the winners of Love Island 2023.
Viewers were also presented with a montage of series nine highlights before the show concluded.
