John Krasinski’s horror series will expand. Paramount is hard at work on a new film with Oscar winner Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave).
Quiet place was a godsend for the Paramount studios. The cheap shocker from director/writer John Krasinski inspired audiences with a clever concept that made moviegoers not dare to shake the popcorn container too hard. Because the movie takes place in a world where the earth has been invaded by noise-sensitive aliens. If you make a sound, you can die quickly.
After the first movie grossed $340 million, I knew too continuation with a result of 297 million dollars – and this is in the pandemic summer of 2021! Logically, Paramount is now pushing for more films. The dark world of the movies should also be explored in spin-offs that shouldn’t have the Abbott family at the center. Such is now under the direction of writer and director Michael Sarnosky (pig) is in progress – and as Deadline reports, the lead actress has already been found.
Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o is reportedly in final talks for a role in the title-winning film. A Quiet Place: Day One I will dress. What the film will be about is still unknown. But the title suggests that we will see aliens take over the earth. The film is due out in theaters on March 8, 2024. Lupita Nyong’o will be next in the Marvel sequel starting on November 9, 2022. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever see on the screen.
But that’s not all Quiet place-Universe. John Krasinski is also currently working on a third Abbott film. This movie is due out sometime in 2025.
