A concert to remember Imanol

Euskaraz irakurri: Imanol oroitzeko kontzertu bat antolatu dute haren lagunek

Imanol Larzabal would have turned 75 this year, had he not died in 2004, at the age of 56, in Orihuela (Alicante), and a group of friends of the singer have organized various activities to remember him on November 11 and 12 .

On November 11, Friday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Imanol Larzabal room of the Lugaritz Kultur Etxea, the documentary “Imanol: Azken Kontzertua” will be screened, made by On Time ekoizpenak with the participation of EITB. Admission will be free and the invitation to the premiere can be purchased from today, November 8, at the Victoria Eugenia Antzokia, Teatro Principal and Lugaritz Kultur Etxea box offices, as well as on the Donostia Kultura website.

On November 12, Saturday, a Kantu Jira accompanied by trikitilaris will depart at 12:00 from Benta Berri del Antiguo square, where a mural dedicated to Imanol is located. Later, at 7:00 p.m., in the Imanol Larzabal room of Lugaritz Kultur Etxea, a concert will be held in which the following artists will take part: Amaia Zubiria, Olatz Salvador, Maria Amolategi, Olatz Prat, Joxan Goikoetxea, Txema Garcés, Iosune Marin, Telmo Trenor and Beñat Mujika. Tickets are on sale for 9 euros.
