The new spy thriller recruit premiered on Netflix this week. night agent offers to look into the world of American espionage from the point of view of a loser.
The series, based on Matthew Quirk’s 2012 book of the same name, launched on Netflix on Thursday and has already got viewers pumping.

What is the new Netflix series about?
According to Netflix sister site Tudum, the story is about a low-level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House at night and runs an undercover spy phone line that never rings.
When this finally happens, a chain of events begins that uncovers a conspiracy that stretches all the way to the Oval Office.
Series creator Sean Ryan described him as “All the president’s men with car chases”.

“Peter is an FBI agent, so he has some training, but he is not Jason Bourne,” Ryan said. “He’s not a trained assassin.

Night Action is a security agency dedicated to “off the record” investigations that traditional agencies such as the FBI, CIA, and NSA cannot reveal.
“Night cops are people who often have other things going on in their lives, but when they get the call, they are usually dealing with very important things,” Ryan explains.
