famous game show deal or no deal returned and this time he moved to ITV. Stephen Mulhern will present the show previously hosted by Noel Edmonds on Channel 4.
The show originally ran for 11 years, from 2005 to 2016, and was based on the Dutch game show 2002. In each episode, a new contestant encounters 22 sealed boxes, each containing a different amount of money.
It is not known how the money will be distributed in this new release, but previously the lowest amount was 1p and the highest was £250,000.
“Wow, what an opportunity, I’m so excited to host a brand new series,” Mr. Mulhern said.
“I have always been such a big fan of the show, so much so that I worked out at home with little corn flakes!
“It looks so simple, but it’s an incredibly addictive game for both players and spectators at home.
“This is one of the greatest shows of all time and I am honored to be the new host. I can’t wait to get started.”
How to request a trade or not?
Casting for the new series has begun and people can register through the website to appear on the show. The deadline for applications is midnight. However, this period may be extended at the discretion of the manufacturer.
The application form is broken down into a series of questions and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, have legal residence in the UK and be able to film freely during the first two weeks of July. After confirming the base, the applicant must answer a series of questions, enter personal information and upload their photo.
