Work resumes to relocate the Oma Forest, which will fully open in October

After in the summer of 2022, during the first phase of the renovation of the Oma Forest painted by Agustin Ibarrola in Kortezubi, 14 artistic ensembles were painted with a total of 454 trees, the Bizkaia Provincial Council has announced that the second phase has begun. phase of the works, which will take place until the end of the summer, and in October the renovated artistic space will be fully opened; then, the Bosque de Oma will show the work projected by Ibarrola in its entirety with 33 artistic sets and more than 800 painted trees on a route of more than one kilometer.

Like last year, citizens will be able to continue on site the process of repainting the forest, since visits will begin on April 1, which can only be carried out by appointment (telephone 94 465 16 57).

Guided tours will be in the morning, from Monday to Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. in Spanish and 12:30 p.m. in Basque, and the Oma Forest will be fully open in October.
