State Lotteries and Gambling has presented this Thursday its campaign for the Extraordinary Christmas Draw 2022. This year they are three ads based on three true storiesTrip, Vika Y three orchids) Y in two of them the protagonists are the Basque actors Kandido Uranga and Josean Bengoetxea.
In the first story (Three Orchids) the protagonists are the worker of a lighthouse (Josean Bengoetxea) and a florist, Julia. To him, Ulises, a tenth comes flying. The bill has a marker written on the back “For Julia. Three Orchids”. The ticket is awarded and he decides to google the phrase. He leaves, of course, the flower shop and goes there and, when she goes to attend to something in the store, Ulises leaves her the winning ticket on the counter.
In the second (Vika) A worker from a company responsible for making Christmas lights and decorations helps a citizen from outside Spain who has just joined and who does not speak the language very well and does not know very well how to start. She advises him and when they have a coffee over time, she tells him one day “Shall we share a tenth? Friends do it here,” she tells him. The ear-to-ear smile of the newcomer and her glazed eyes clearly respond to that invitation.
In the third (Trip)A pastor (Kandido Uranga) walks with his sheep for kilometers in the rain, from one place to another, until he reaches a hospital where a friend of his is convalescing and to whom he wants to give the tenth that they have always bought in the raffle.
Unlike the first case, in the other two it is unknown if they will win the prize.
Like every year the draw for the Christmas lottery will be held on December 22th.
