Several musical acts will round off a week in which the 75th anniversary of the birth of the singer and composer from San Sebastian Imanol Larzabal has been commemorated.
The three quarters of a century that the prolific musician would have fulfilled have been remembered these days with different works presented during these days.
On Thursday the album-book ‘Imanol: Kantatzen du kantuz‘, an anthology of 40 songs made by Anjes Valdés, which includes the most significant of her musical production and which has had the participation of Elixabete Garmendia, Karlos Giménez and Felipe Juaristi.
Likewise, on Friday, the documentary ‘Imanol: azken kontzertua‘, made by On Time Ekoizpenak. The work carried out by Javier Gutiérrez and directed by Iñigo Kintana lasts 70 minutes and reviews the career of the creator and singer, focusing above all on his cultural contribution.
To finish, this Saturday there will be a ‘Kantu Jira‘ accompanied by trikitilaris at 12:00 noon from Benta Berri del Antiguo square, where a mural dedicated to Imanol is located, and will go to the Txirain society, where a popular meal will be held at 2:00 p.m.
At seven in the afternoon, also in the Imanol Larzabal room, there will be a concert by Amaia ZubiriaOlatz Salvador, Maria Amolategi, Olatz Prat, Joxan Goikoetxea, Txema Garcés, Iosune Marin, Telmo Trenor and Beñat Mujika.
