Lots of noise in… 3 minutes. After Studio Ghibli tweeted Star Wars content last week, an animated short film starring Baby Yoda was released on Disney+ over the weekend.
The hand-drawn short film bears the title Zen – Grog and the Dust Bunnies and shows a little boy, also known to fans as Baby Yoda, who is stalked by a pair of dust bunnies and eventually befriends them. The short film is available exclusively on Disney+ starting Saturday.
Anyone who was expecting a feature-length animated film from Studio Ghibli and Lucasfilm after the cryptic tweets will probably be a little disappointed. But one can also look at things optimistically and Zen – Grog and the Dust Bunnies perhaps see this as a first step towards closer cooperation. Our fingers remain crossed.
