Cats hate water.
This is not the case for owner Cathy Bear and Pim, who needs to shower every day.
Kate, a 31-year-old nurse practitioner from New York City, moved to Pym when she was 7 weeks old.
After three weeks of living together, Katie discovers that her pet has a strange fascination with water.
The kitty got stuck under the bathroom faucet and then jumped right into the shower while the shower was on full blast.
As Pym’s confidence and curiosity grew, he jumped into the shower and began asking to be washed.
Now Katie can’t take a shower without Pim.

“I remember the first time she took a shower. I called my mom after asking if she was okay,” Katie said. he said no.
“He was in the shower when he first came in. He went in to put his head in. He was only 10 weeks old at the time.”
“At first I was very surprised because I thought cats didn’t like water, but I was worried because they love hot showers.
But it turns out that Pim likes the temperature too!
“He loves being in the water and maybe that calms him down.
“He showers with me every day. I get ready to go in. I look around and Pim is waiting under the faucet.”
Pim knows my schedule, so I’m ready to drop in at any time of the day or night for any reason. He never cries, he just waits.
“I think some people are thinking, ‘Why don’t you take it off?
“I actually tried and he reacted by banging on the door.
“Shower time is now a team effort!”
Kate started sharing videos of Pim’s unexpected habits on TikTok and Instagram, and people, as you can imagine, are obsessed.
The choice of music for the duet is also important, as cats and their owners need to sing during their daily showers.
“The first reason I was able to take a picture of Pim in the shower is because I listen to music while I’m in the shower, so I always have my phone on the shelf,” Katie said. Yeah, that’s how I made the video of her.
“Pim and I love Celine Dion right now!
They are very sociable cats and very charming.
“He’s so cute and he whispers to me all the time.”
