The Covid inquiry has entered a crucial week with evidence expected to provide a clear picture of what happened in Boris Johnson’s government during the pandemic.

The inquiry will also hear from communications chief Lee Cain later today, and from Johnson’s former chief adviser Dominic Cummings later this week.
