Lee Cain, one of Boris Johnson’s closest and most experienced aides, is giving evidence to the Covid-19 inquiry. He resigned in November 2020, angered by the government’s handling of the pandemic.
Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s former chief adviser who broke lockdown rules, will also face questions at the inquest today.
