Domino’s Pizza operator in Russia is considering selling its business ten months after Russia invaded Ukraine.
DP Eurasia, which operates the Domino’s Pizza brand in Turkey and Russia, said on Wednesday that it is considering options to grow its Russian business, including a sale.
It added that work on a possible deal is ongoing, and there can be no certainty about its outcome.
“DP Eurasia is evaluating its presence in Russia, the impact of the sanctions and its ability to continue serving its clients in Russia,” said the announcement, responding to market speculation about withdrawing from Russian operations.
“So the company is looking at several options, including the sale of its Russian operations.”
In April, DP Eurasia said it planned to stay but would limit investment.
In October, the London-based company announced that it would continue optimizing the number of stores in Russia and had 171 stores in the country at the end of October, compared to 192 stores a year earlier.
Many Western companies left Russia after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, including McDonald’s and Starbucks.
