Man caught with 10 liters of DMT at Porto airport. It was hidden in paint bottles

Judicial police arrested a 49-year-old man at the crime scene at Francisco Sá Carneiro airport who ordered ten liters of dimethyltryptamine from Brazil, a drug with psychoactive effects. The suspect tried to hide the herbal product in bottles of dye.

A suspected drug dealer was trying to smuggle into Portugal a herbal drug found in the leaves of some South American plants. The substance is usually smoked, injected intravenously, or consumed as a tea.

The confiscation took place at the cargo terminal at Porto Airport with the assistance of the Tax and Customs Administration.

The detainee will be present at the first interrogation for the use of such coercive measures as he deems appropriate.
