PS has withdrawn its support for an order from the Secretary of State for Tax Affairs amending the government’s decree-law to establish rules for treating income support as a “sign of good faith” and for the process to be “smooth and as reasonable as possible,” said Deputy Hugo Carvalho at the beginning of the voting process for the specialty of the More Housing program.
Meanwhile, the PS has given the government the final decision on the income formula for accessing emergency support. On the other hand, the majority court withdrew a proposal for a rule of interpretation of the decision contested by the opposition, according to which “the concepts of annual income and average annual income should be understood as including income taken into account to determine the general rate of the applicable IRS, specific deductions from IRS income taken into account in determining the rate, as well as income taken into account for the purposes of application of special rates”.
