Four armed men who identified themselves as policemen threatened and beat a couple who tried to steal a car from a garage on Estrada do Forte da Ameixoira in Lisbon. The woman was threatened with a weapon, and the man was attacked. The violence only stopped when the gang managed to break into the workshop and take the car, in this case a Peugeot. As a result, they fled in this car and in another car, in which they arrived at the scene. The couple were horrified, but despite their injuries, they did not need hospitalization. The PSP was present at the scene, but since it was a robbery with a firearm, the investigation was transferred to the Judicial Police.
The crime took place shortly before 6:00 am on Monday, when the couple, who live near the workshop they own, left the house and were soon taken by surprise by a group who ambushed to take the car.
