The Mayor of Lisbon today summed up the “year of decisions” after winning the municipal elections, emphasizing free public transport, and committed to the municipality to support the fight against inflation.
“Lisbon will have to be at the forefront of the fight against inflation. […]. Lisbon can’t leave anyone behind,” said Carlos Moedas (PSD), citing the municipal executive has already scheduled an extraordinary meeting to discuss proposals to support families and businesses in the city.
At a meeting of the Lisbon Municipal Assembly to present the intervention of the municipal executive between June and August, the mayor took the opportunity to take stock of the first year since the victory of the Novos Tempos (PSD/CDS-PP/MPT/PPM /Aliança) coalition in the 26 municipal elections September 2021: “Promised, decided and fulfilled.”
