NCIS wants to continue ‘anti-drug trafficking missions’

Operations against drug trafficking will continue outside the Algarve by the maritime police together with the navy, air force and judicial police.

The confirmation was made this Friday on CM the second General Commander of the Maritime Police during the celebration of the security forces and the General Directorate of Maritime Authorities in Portimão.

“Missions against drug trafficking will continue as drug trafficking is on the rise in Europe. This year we have already seized about 32 tons of hashish,” said Rear Admiral Jose Mirones.

Until this Sunday, the museum displays various media and hosts sea baptisms. The official ceremony will take place on the river bank, where the agents and military personnel of the Maritime Authority will be honored.
