The PNR arrested two men and a woman in Barcelos on suspicion of drug trafficking and seized 1,700 doses of cocaine and 6,200 euros, the force said on Monday.
The GNR statement added that investigations revealed that the suspects were selling cocaine to consumers in the municipalities of Barcelos and Esposende.
On Sunday, the NHP executed six search warrants, four on homes and two on vehicles, which also resulted in the seizure of 20 doses of hashish, two vehicles, materials used for cutting and packaging drug products, a shotgun and 80 rounds of ammunition.
The detainees, aged between 30 and 60, will appear in court for first questioning and enforcement measures.
